I just finished a memoir, that I’m sure I’ll be endlessly tightening up…

One of the “duh” moments I had was realizing I was the main character and that I needed to develop myself–not just the other characters! My beginning was originally a splash of cold water on the face. I figured out I had to get the reader to warm up to me first before I completely shocked and appalled them:)

I’m sure there’s still plenty of work I need to do.

I’m only a couple of blogs deep here myself, any other good writer bloggers you recommend?
