Hmm…maybe that’s why it’s sounding good this time around. I do think I know what the hero is up against–and it’s a biggie, so maybe it’ll drive the scenes?

I know–I’m here trying to find the least scary route, and how silly is THAT?

Oh gosh. I think I’m like you. The thought of writing out of sequence in a first draft is frightening. I know people who could do it though. Those are the writer’s who really know their character’s internal and external conflict. I’m afraid I’m all over the place with my character until many drafts later (equally scary!).
